About Us

Florida HFA meets weekly to educate and mentor its members on the skills they need to win internships in financial services. HFA currently has recruiting partnerships with Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO), Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), Bank of America, and Insight Partners. Members gain exclusive access to opportunities with these firms, as well as lifelong mentorship and development opportunities inside and outside of the Florida HFA chapter.

Florida HFA operates with an executive board overseeing the day-to-day operations. Members are paired with other members to build mentorship relationships and guide their learning and preparation for recruitment for internships.

Adam Linares

President & Founder

Adam is a sophomore at the University of Florida studying Finance with a minor in Linguistics. On campus he is an analyst in the student-run investment fund Founders Fund. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, football, basketball, and reading. He will be interning at Jefferies in New York City this summer.

Danielle Lara

Executive Vice President

Danielle is a Senior at the University of Florida studying Accounting. On campus, she is involved in The Founders Fund and Student Finance Group. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at animal shelters, reading and playing tennis. She interned in RBC Capital Markets’ CME investment banking group in New York and will be returning full time.

Camryn Gonzalez

Treasurer & VP of Marketing

Camryn is a junior at the University of Florida studying Finance. On campus, she is involved in Florida Leadership Academy, Latin Women in Business, and Founders Fund. In her past time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family and binge-watching her favorite tv shows. Last summer, she interned with Truist Financial in their Commercial Banking division and will be returning this summer as a Credit Delivery summer analyst in their Investment Banking division.
